Ross Federgreen
Founder


Ross Federgreen has served as an advisor to both the United States Senate and the US Agency for International Development (USAID). He has worked on consulting projects for The Rockefeller Fund, McKinsey & Company and Booz-Allen-Hamilton.

Ross has personally completed compliance, risk mitigation and liability engagements for companies ranging from the Fortune 100 to start-ups.  His breadth of experience includes the hospitality, grocery, e-Commerce and self-storage industries. Ross is also a sought-after speaker to such industry groups as the National Association of Grocers and the Electronic Transaction Association.

Ross’s 100+ articles have appeared in Transaction Trends, The Bottom Line, Inside Self-Storage, The Mini Messenger, Grocery Headquarters and many other professional and trade journals. He has authored critical white papers on transaction security compliance. He currently serves on the Advisory Board to the “Green Sheet” and is section editor for payments for Inside Self-Storage Magazine.

Ross is a professional member of the Hospitality Financial and Technical Professionals, the National Association of Clearing House Administrators, the Electronic Transaction Association, the Computer Security Institute and EASTPAY.

He received his Bachelor’s from Hofstra University with Highest Departmental Honors, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and received his Doctorate from Yale University.

In the August 2009 issue of Transaction Trends, the official journal of the Electronic Transaction Association, he was named as one of six industry leaders in the cover story titled, “Good Advice”.

Ross’s passion in his spare time is long distance bicycle riding. He loves his collection of Italian road bikes including Pinarello and Bianchi all of which, of course, are full Campy.

Richard (Rick) Heroux
President and Co-founder of CSRSI


Rick is a specialist in adopting and redeploying payment strategies. He has advised hundreds of companies ranging in size from Fortune 100 to start-ups. His areas of expertise include payment cost performance, CISP/PCI compliance, alternative payment implementation and the operational management of payment systems inclusive of both internal and external fraud prevention.

In July of 2006 he was appointed to the Risk and Fraud Management Committee of the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA). The ETA is the premier professional organization representing the electronic processing industry worldwide.

He is a sought- after speaker and has delivered keynote addresses at national meetings including the NFMA and has served as a panelist for the Electronic Transaction Association. Rick is also the recipient of the prestigious W. E. Demming Prize for quality improvement.

He is a professional member of the Electronic Transaction Association, The National Association of Clearing House Administrators and The Computer Security Institute.

Prior to becoming President of CSRSI he served for 18 years in the energy industry where he chaired task forces on organization design, reengineered operational systems and designed regulatory defense systems.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he graduated from the Financial Accounting Institute.
